2Fort – What is it?
Another map from Team Fortress 2 recreated into Minecraft. The map is exactly like the original 2fort of Team Fortress 2. The game mode is the same and you must capture your enemy’s intel for the three points in order to win the game. You can still poison, burn, launch, and stab your enemies in the back for the points. The map in Minecraft contains the 8 classes from the game as well, with each of them having their own unique items and place in the game mode. Using the mechanics of the command blocks in the current version of Minecraft, it has the ability to set a spawn for each team, their own health box, and respawning mechanics specific to the player’s class.
The unique features of the map includes a team randomizer, a map rotation that can be used with the previous Dustbowl map, the ability to switch classes mid-game, respawning health packs and best of all, it’s completely vanilla. When everything adds up, you have a enjoyable game of capture the flag inside the Minecraft, while getting a dose of the original Team Fortress 2 that’s mixed in with the combat mechanics of the map.
