Ghost Squadron – Minecraft 1.9, 1.8, and 1.7.2

Overview of this Map

Ghost Squadron is a map idea created by Sethbling and many others contributing through mechanics and maps created by Vechs, the creator of the Super Hostile. The idea of the map is to grab hold of the invisibility mechanics and apply it for every player. The players are split into two teams and are invisible to the enemy team, but visible to their own team as a silhouette. Your player model is invisible, but the items that you hold are not. So you must play strategically by keeping your hand empty and switch swiftly when you’re ready to strike. You can also play smart and take advantage of the invisibility function by telling whether or not a player is there by looking for potion particles that the invisibility gives off.

The map mode features six unique classes ranging from melee, to range, to even a mad chemist. Each of these classes have their own benefits for themselves and for their teams. Some can support from afar while the melee warriors charge into the fray or you can even support in close range with potions that helps your teammates by revealing the enemy players from their invisible shroud. Each map has it’s own unique treat to it to make the gameplay intense and each map even has it’s own style of theme to it. Get out there onto the battlefield, don’t leave your teammates in the cold.
