Minecraft 1.5.2 – Pin Dodge

Overview of this Map

Pin-Dodge is a mini-game similar to dodgeball, but with another objective. You can focus down your friends in put them in burning pain, but the real objective here is to destroy the pins that your “friends” are trying to protect. There are two teams that can support many players on each platform. Each team has three pins that they must protect while destroying the opposing teams pin. There are ghast balls that spawn at a certain rate and your team must smack it across the arena to hit the pins. That’s all there is, you can also burn your friends or send them spiraling into the blue void.

The map features a shop that players can purchase from with points. Points are obtained by destroying a pin, each pin will give your team a point for you to use in the shop to give you and extra edge. The map uses features from command blocks to keep score in chat, but that can be drowned out. To fix that, the arena features a counter on each walls to show how many pins are remaining that need to be destroyed. At the end of the match, the winning team gets the satisfaction of dropping the losing team in a pit of lava. That reward should be satisfactory.
