The Islands of Junara – The race is on to hunt down and obtain the ancient artifacts that power the veins of these islands.

Overview of this Map

You feel a strange power flowing through the veins of the island. Majestic floating pieces of land that hold ancient artifacts and powerful monsters that have treasures worth fighting for. Behind the truthful beauty it holds, lies the dark dungeons. These dark dungeons, blue waves, stormy clouds and even the entangled jungles contain powerful artifacts that gives great power to the wielder. This is the floating island of treasures that are worth chasing down. Of course with islands like these, there must be more than just enough to supply many of your colleagues chasing after the treasures as well.

Islands of Junara is a sky survival map, consisting of islands, dungeons, and a special mob arena for you to enjoy. It contains an abundant amount of loot and artifacts inspired other games that have been scattered around the map for you to enjoy. Consider it a very well rewarding mini-game. The map also features some unique monsters in quantities of many, making this map hard to get around and obtain what you want without being very well equipped. Be careful of where you are, you could be plummeting from the skies and you won’t even know it until you hit the ground.

How to Install this Map

So you want to install this map for Minecraft? Well, thanks to this tutorial, we can make that happen! Just click on the tabs corresponding with your operating system to the left of this.
Installing maps on the Windows operating system is as easy as 1-2-3! Just do the following:
  • Extract the map into a folder.
  • Open up Windows Explorer.
  • In the navigation bar, type "%AppData%" (no quotes).
  • Open the folder called ".minecraft".
  • Then, open up a folder called "saves".
  • Drag the map into that folder.
  • Open up Minecraft.
  • Enjoy!
Installing maps on the Mac operating system is fairly easy too! In fact, it's almost as easy as installing maps on the Windows operating system, if not easier! The instructions are as follows:
  • Extract the map into a folder.
  • Open Minecraft up.
  • Click on "texture packs".
  • Click "open texture pack folder" and close Minecraft afterwards.
  • Go one folder up.
  • Click on the folder called "saves".
  • Drag the map into that folder.
  • Open Minecraft up again.
  • Enjoy!
Please note that these instructions also work with Windows operating systems too!
