Vampire Survival – Defend your town from a swarm of vampires that want to devour your villagers, and you.

Vampire Survival – What is it?

Vampire Survival is a map where you there is a defense and an offense. As defense, your only objective is to kill the attackers and the attackers objective is to destroy the village in this map. As a defender, you are a village guard, you must defend your town from incoming vampires. With the use of the latest snapshot, vampires will be invisible and will be dispatched with wooden swords. Your objective is to kill the villagers and wipe out the village guards. When a guard dies, the guard will be resurrected as a vampire and their objective is the same as the origin of vampires. As a vampire, killing villagers can get you upgrades and mobs on your side that will help you kill the guards. As a guard, your objective is to defend the village from the vampires for a certain amount of time. To help you with this mission, you can buy items and upgrades from villagers inside their homes.

After a period of time, villagers will start to spawn. Every time a villager spawns, a light beam will shine down from the skies to notify where the villager is located at. It would be a good idea to stick around the villagers as they are your source of power. They provide you food, weapons, and upgrades. They also provide this to the vampires if they die, so be on your toes and protect your providers.

How to Install this Map

So you want to install this map for Minecraft? Well, thanks to this tutorial, we can make that happen! Just click on the tabs corresponding with your operating system to the left of this.

Installing maps on the Windows operating system is as easy as 1-2-3! Just do the following:

Extract the map into a folder.
Open up Windows Explorer.
In the navigation bar, type "%AppData%" (no quotes).
Open the folder called ".minecraft".
Then, open up a folder called "saves".
Drag the map into that folder.
Open up Minecraft.
Enjoy!

Installing maps on the Mac operating system is fairly easy too! In fact, it's almost as easy as installing maps on the Windows operating system, if not easier! The instructions are as follows:

Extract the map into a folder.
Open Minecraft up.
Click on "texture packs".
Click "open texture pack folder" and close Minecraft afterwards.
Go one folder up.
Click on the folder called "saves".
Drag the map into that folder.
Open Minecraft up again.
