Minecraft 1.5.2 – Glimmar’s Steampunk Texture Pack

Glimmar’s Steampunk Texture Pack – An always interesting genre comes to life in Minecraft.

Glimmar’s Steampunk Texture Pack – What is it?

Steampunk is a genre not often done for the sheer amount of effort required to do it justice. You see it in films such as Van Helsing, 9, and Sherlock Holmes. It was rather inevitable that that it would be brought to Minecraft. The greatest thing about Steampunk and the great complexity throughout it is that it isn’t something overused, from texture packs to media in general, contrasted with something like the post-apocalyptic genre. Now how is this texture pack executed? Well, the texture pack looks fantastic. Attention to detail is great here, and no stone was left unturned when it came to steampunk-ifying the world of Minecraft. Everything from Creepers to miscellaneous equipment to your basic Jungle Cats are given a look as if they’re ripped straight from a Steampunk-inspired graphic novel. It really sets the scene and mood for creating a grand role-playing environment, to enjoy your own Steampunk adventures and stories. This is a texture pack you most certainly do not want to skip out on. Even if you’re not a fan of the Steampunk style, you have to respect the work put into this texture pack. Now for some screenshots of the texture pack.
