ChatLog Mod

I love chatting in Minecraft. It’s always so fun to talk to your friends, or even complete strangers sometimes. It’s really enjoyable to talk to them, because everyone has something different to say. The problem, however, is that if there are more that 5 people chatting on the server, it can be quite overwhelming. It can even get to the point where you can’t read what your friend said. On top of that, sometimes, your friends might disclose important information that you might need to know later on. If only there was a way to save the chat logs.

That’s where theChatLog Mod comes into play. TheChatLog Mod is a mod that makes it so you can save entire chats locally, meaning that you can open them back up laterin your web browser. What’s even cooler is that they are all color coded to the way the server outputs the information, meaning that you don’t have to fret over looking for a single person, or an important message a moderator might have said. What’s even cooler is that the messages are time-stamped, meaning that this can also be an excellent server moderation tool.

This mod excels greatly when it comes to mid-sized servers consisting of around 15 to 40 people. Even if everyone is typing, you can easily find out what your friends said, and you can even keep track of important information. For example, let’s say that your friend said that he’s going to be on tomorrow at a specific time. Over time, you will forget this information, but with this mod, you can just look at the previous messages, and possible set a reminder on your phone or computer so you won’t forget what time he will be on.

All in all, this mod is pretty nice, and is recommended for avid server goers who would like to keep track of all they conversations that they might have had.
