Fishing Block Mod – Ever wanted be able to automatically fish in Minecraft? Well look no further, because this mod is for you!
The fishing block mod is a mod for Minecraft that allows you to craft a “fish block” that automatically drops fish. Even though this mod may seem a little overpowered at first, it’s really not as all it does is just remove the inconvenience that regular fishing bears. To make it seem fair though, the mod simulates the time required to fish. this means that it will take a while for the fish drop, sort of like how it takes a while to catch fish. Another feature that makes this mod very balanced, is that it requires iron and Redstone. The crafting recipe is as follows:
Even though the crafting recipe is kind of expensive, you’ll be able to have an infinite amount of fish without the work required to get it. In order to get this model work, there must be a source of water underneath the block. It doesn’t matter if the source of water is stagnant, or is a current. On top of that, there must be a Redstone current flowing into the block at all times. Also note that the fish do not drop directly below, and that they draw from all sides the block.
All in all, this mod is very balanced and I would definitely recommend it to people who find fishing to be very tedious, but would still like to have some fish, while still preserving the survival aspect of the game. Now for some screenshots of the mod.
