Golden Egg Mod

Golden Egg Mod – Get rare items more easily, such as gold nuggets and bottle of enchanting with this mod!

Has there ever been a time where you just wish all those rare and valuable items could just come to you somehow, but is still fairly rare to acquire regardless? You know, in a simple fashion that doesn’t require too much effort, yet isn’t considered completely cheating? Well, this mod has been created specifically for people like you! The Golden Egg mod is a mod that makes it so chicken have a 40% chance of dropping a golden egg rather than a normal Minecraft egg.

The golden egg, once acquired, can be thrown. Once you throw the golden egg, it will drop a normally hard to get item, such as a bottle of enchanting, emeralds, carrots, or evenpotatoes. It can, however, drop a diamond pickaxe if you are lucky. In my opinion, this is much better than trying to find a zombie spawner to abuse in order to getpotatoesand carrots. The emerald drops are also a nice plus.

As stated before, there is only a 40% chance than the chicken’s egg might be a golden egg. This means that 60% of the time, it will be a normal chicken egg. Since chicken eggs are fairly rare themselves, this mod is fairly balanced if you ask me. In order to really reap the benefits of this mod, you will have to create a chicken farm with at least 20 chickens inside of it. This can easily be achieved through luring maybe 5-8 chickens, and breeding them afterwards. After a few minutes, youshouldhave a fairly large chicken farm, and all you have to do then is just wait for the chicks to become adults.

All in all, this mod is pretty useful for anyone that would like a chance at getting rare and sometimes unachievable items in survival. Now for some screenshots of the mod.
