As much as I love crafting in Minecraft, it can be quite annoying at time, especially if you’re trying to craft a large quantity of something simple in a rush, such as wooden slabs, or stone brick. Sure, it can be done if you have patience to wait for it to finish smelting, and then taking the blocks out, but in my opinion, a more automated approach is the way to go.
That’s why theProject Bench Mod came to be. TheProject Bench Mod is a mod that makes it so you can make massive amounts of a type of item without having to place the recipe in the crafting table every time. All you need to do is place the original crafting recipe in the crafting table of the project bench, and after that, all you have to do is place the materials needed into the chest compartment of the bench.
At first, this mod may not seem all that useful, but if you have an industrial mod (almost all industrial mods work with this mod by the way), you can make it so you can mine an area, send the cobblestone to a smelting facility, and then have it so the smelted cobbletsone, or stone, get transferred to the project bench’s storage compartment. After that, you can make it so you can transfer the crafted item to a normal chest, meaning you essentially have an automated stone brick maker. Please note that this is just one of the possibilities where this mod can be used for.
All in all, this mod is pretty nice, and is recommended for people who have large scale mining operations, and would like to rule out all user interactions in their mining operations. I, for one, find this mod to be quite useful, and quite a time saver on top of that!
