Trap Friendly Cactus Mod

Trap Friendly Cactus Mod – Create intricate mobs traps involving cacti with this mod! Losing mob drops to cacti is now a thing of the past!

The cacti in Minecraft are amazing! They hurt anything they touch, allowing for great base defenses. They can even be used to make mob farms! The only problem is, however, the drop rate is extremely low, as in, the drop rate of cacti mob traps usually hover around the 10-20% drop rate. This means that cacti mob traps are incredibly inefficient.

This mod aims to change that. The trap friendly cactus mod is a mod that makes it so cacti will no longer destroy mob drops, or any items for that matter. This means that you can make mob traps with a 100% drop rate from now on! This also means that you no longer have to rely on lava, or “mob drop” type of mob traps. It’s like the best of both worlds, and by that, I mean a 100% drop rate combined with a compact form!

Survival-wise, this mod is also very practical. For example, let’s say you get ambushed by a bunch of creepers, and being low on health, you have no choice but to run away. It’s night time and you’re in the desert, and to add insult to injury, you had to change your screen’s brightness to a really low setting so you won’t hurt your eyesbecause it’s also night time in real life too. This makes the cacti hard to see, and you may end up running into one, and since you were low on health beforehand, the cactus manages to take you out. If you didn’t have this mod installed, this would mean that abut half of your inventory gets destroyed by the cactus. Thanks to this mod, you can go to sleep, and completely recover all of your items by day.

All in all, this mod is great for anyone who would like to create a mob trap, or just plain hate how cacti destroy items too.
